Solar Educational Kit-Basic

$25.00

This kit of components permits the student to connect a solar cell to three different devices to see the conversion of light into electrical power. The Electrical energy is then converted into: Mechanical energy: To run a fan and to push air from one place to another Mechanical energy: To vibrate a piece of material so it produces sound energy. Heat energy: To heat a light globe filament so hot that it gives out light.

The kit consists of the fallowing components:
  • 1x Solar cell rated at 1.0 Volt and 400 mA under direct sunlight.
  • 1x Electric motor specially designed to run at very low voltage.
  • 1x Plastic fan to fit to the motor
  • 1x Lamp socket and lamp of the correct rating to glow when 1 volt is applied.
